How long have you been a photographer? What pushed you on this path in the beginning? 
Just three years now.
Photography found me when I noticed my families restaurant was struggling during Covid.
They had zero online or social media presence and these old photos that were way over due. My father lent me his old camera and my life changed ever since. Studying and researching every second I can and trial and error. It never felt like work. 

Have you always wanted to make art? 
Yes! Naturally I would always gravitate towards creating music, or graphic design, and once I was behind the viewfinder, it felt like where i belong.

Tell us about your favourite shoot. 
One of my favorite shoots was for a school that was closing.
We managed to wrangle most of the teachers and put together a photoshoot with hair/makeup/food/drinks. It was refreshing and fun. The positive response and the smiles on their faces was inspiring.

What inspires you? 
I find inspiration everywhere, sometimes I just close my mind to any thoughts and biases and let the inspiration find me by listening inn closely or allowing myself to actually see my surroundings. Something is always calling out to you when you allow yourself to see the inspiration.

How would you characterize your style? 
I would say what’s unique to me is teaching myself everyday the ins and outs of what photography can be and knowing how to go against what’s considered normal. I love wide and shots from angles we don’t normally see every day.

What advice would you give to a beginning photographer?
Do not close yourself to negative thoughts, they will always be there, it doesn’t mean they’re right. Try everything, and don’t be afraid to do what may not be right in most peoples eyes. Every mistake is a learning experience.
