Rebel Magazine is an independent fashion and art publication based in London, printing and publishing work by photographers, stylists and models worldwide since 2020.
What we publish
Fashion editorials, beauty and portrait series, conceptual and art photography. We look for a clear idea carried through the whole story rather than a set of strong single frames.
We publish work from photographers, stylists, makeup and hair artists, designers and models. Submissions are accepted worldwide.
Requirements
- A complete series, not individual images
- High resolution files, retouched and final
- Full credits for everyone involved, with Instagram handles
- Consistent light, styling and colour across the series
- Work you hold the rights to publish

How it works
- Prepare your series and complete credits.
- Submit through our Kavyar page.
- Paid submissions receive a decision within 24 hours. Free submissions are reviewed in order of arrival.
- If accepted, your story is published and shared with our audience.
Why submissions are declined
Around 8% of submissions are accepted. The most common reasons for a decline:
- The series has no consistent idea holding it together
- Uneven light or colour between frames
- Incomplete credits
- Work already widely published elsewhere
Paid submissions are refunded if the work is not accepted.

Does it cost anything to submit?
There is a free submission option. Paid packages with additional placement and print options are available on our Kavyar page.
How long does a decision take?
Paid submissions receive a decision within 24 hours. Free submissions are reviewed in order of arrival.
How selective is Rebel Magazine?
Around 8% of submissions are accepted. A Rebel tearsheet is a genuinely selective credit.
Do I keep the rights to my images?
Yes. You keep full copyright. We ask for permission to publish on our website, in print and across our social channels.
Do you require exclusivity?
No. You are free to publish the same work elsewhere.
What if my submission is rejected?
Paid submissions are refunded if the work is not accepted.
