How long have you been a photographer? What pushed you on this path in the beginning?
-I've been a photographer for about 15 years. I love the challenge of representing the moment. Photography has an infinite number of creative possibilities to capture life and that to me is exhilarating.
Have you always wanted to make art?
-I've always found myself looking at things differently. For me art is to explore the interaction of emotional and physical dimensions. Taking the elements of the current moment and deferring it for interpretation at a later time and through someone else's eyes.
Tell us about your favourite shoot.
-I can't say I have a favorite shoot that I've done yet. I enjoy every shoot equally from the most challenging to the most pleasing.
What inspires you?
-I'm actually inspired by external elements. I take music, interaction with people and friends, meditation and being open to the energy of the universe. This is what inspires me.
How would you characterize your style?
-I tend to lean towards making photos punchy with a bit chaos in them.
What advice would you give to a beginning photographer?
-I would say be open to inspiration and go shoot. Reflect on the imagery but don't dwell on it. Adjust accordingly and repeat.
