How long have you been a photographer? What pushed you on this path in the beginning?
I started photography in the 1980's, when we had to still use chemicals to develop our film. I was inspired by Ansel Adams, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Herb Ritts.

Have you always wanted to make art?
I have always wanted to make art, but had other careers to support my art inspiration.

Tell us about your favourite shoot.
My favorite shoot was when I had the honor to do a photoshoot with Jules and her 6-month old twins. It was the twins first photoshoot.

What inspires you?
I have lived all over the world, served in 4-years in combat, and seen the beauty and destruction of mankind; so my inspiration in my photos is to show the beauty in humanity.

How would you characterize your style?
My style is authentic, because I only use real working people and not professional models, I only use natural light, and I don't photoshop or alter my images. My photos are authentic and real.

What advice would you give to a beginning photographer?
The biggest advice to a new photographer is that 50% of your success is your photos but 50% is running your business. Never give up your passion for photography, it's the road less travelled and worth the decision.
