Layla Swimwear — Capturing the Spirit of Ibiza

Layla Swimwear has become a name that embodies Ibiza’s effortless style and freedom. What first inspired you to create the brand?
Layla Swimwear started from a shared love of travel, design, and the island of Ibiza — a place that represents freedom, individuality, and confidence. We wanted to design swimwear that captured that feeling — timeless, elegant, and empowering. Every collection reflects the island’s natural beauty and energy, from its golden beaches to the effortless glamour of Ibiza Town. It’s more than fashion — it’s a lifestyle.

The recent shoot with model Anna Nigriv at the historic Croissant Show Café in Ibiza Town feels truly iconic. What was the vision behind it?
The Croissant Show Café is such an authentic part of Ibiza’s story — it’s a meeting point for locals, artists, and dreamers. I wanted to blend that heritage with the modern elegance of Layla Swimwear. Shooting with Anna was incredible — she perfectly represented the confident, free-spirited woman the brand was built around. The light, the café’s history, and the atmosphere of Ibiza Town all came together to create something timeless.

Layla Swimwear is known for its focus on quality and sustainability. How important are those values to you as a brand?
They’re at the heart of everything we do. Our collections are made in our Bali factory, where we ensure every piece is crafted with care, using sustainable, high-quality fabrics. We’re proud to keep production small and personal — it’s about designing swimwear that lasts, both in style and in quality. We never wanted to chase trends; we wanted to create pieces that women feel amazing in, year after year.

What can we expect from Layla Swimwear’s upcoming 2026 collection?
The 2026 range is our boldest yet. It continues our story between Ibiza and Bali — two places that inspire everything we create. Expect refined silhouettes, elevated detailing, and new colourways inspired by sunrise tones and the Mediterranean sea. We’re also hoping to expand into new global outlets in Dubai, the U.S., and mainland Spain — something we’re really excited about. But no matter how far Layla Swimwear travels, Ibiza will always be our heart and our home.
