How long have you been a photographer? What pushed you on this path in the beginning?
I have been working professionally with photography for about 6/7 years, before that it was my passion and hobby, but also a subject at art college. Ever since I was a child I admired the beautifully crafted editorials in fashion magazines and wanted to create images as well. My Dad's brothers had a darkroom in one of their rooms and I was always very interested and curious about this place.

Have you always wanted to make art?
Ever since I can remember I've been drawing and painting, then taking pictures as soon as a camera came into my hands. When I started primary school, I used to go to extra art classes after school.

Tell us about your favourite shoot.
This session is one of my favourites. My first visit to New York, the gorgeous locations I chose the day before the shoot. I met super
talented, professional and wonderful people on this project. Everything turned out even better than I expected.

What inspires you?
I am mainly inspired by people, travel, as well as old cinema and paintings.

How would you characterize your style?
It is difficult for me to judge it objectively, I myself would like someone on the side to tell me about it.

What advice would you give to a beginning photographer?
I think the best advice is to take lots of pictures and learn from your mistakes but also your successes.
