How did your career start?
I was born in the southeast of China. Now I am a fashion designer and jewelry artist. I have never limited myself to only using one method to express my fashion attitude. Now I experiment with different mediums, including metals, fabrics, yarns, biomaterials, paints and resin. Through constant experimentation, I gradually find my design language.

Tell us a little about this shoot.
For this collection, I was inspired by the concept of pause. I tried to stop the time and space through the garments. I use resin and PVC fabric to achieve this feeling. The photographer Xiaoyu and I thought the collection was more suitable to be placed in space than worn directly on the body. We were trying to capture the moment of the interaction of people, space, and clothes.

What inspires you?
I am exploring the role that garments can play between people and space. At the same time, I am trying to keep experimenting with non-traditional materials. This process is exciting, and I sometimes feel like a scientist while experimenting.

Tell us about your creative plans.
This collection has given me much courage to experiment with different materials. I tried to explore more and more different materials in the garments in the future. It is essential and interesting to keep pushing my boundaries. I may fail in the process, but the experience I gain is the real treasure. I expect that I will use all these experiences in my future design!
