Seeing humanity's impact on our planet, the changes in climate, visiting melting glaciers, and shooting beautiful fashion images with devastation in the background, I keep asking myself: What kind of planet will we leave for future generations?
In my latest photo project, "Null," I decided to explore this subject more deeply. Together with my team, we ventured to locations in Cyprus where human influence on nature is irreversible: old mines, abandoned factories, and industrial zones. The project's title reflects the aspiration to nullify the damage inflicted upon the planet by humanity before it's too late. Just as we can nullify the damage, humanity itself may face nullification if we don't become more conscious of our resource usage.
Created in collaboration with forward-thinking fashion designers, artists, and sustainable brands, "Null" merges art and responsibility. This project serves as a solemn tribute, highlighting fragility of the world around us and the urgent need for its preservation.
