Beauty slips into another dimension in a study of blue, where color be-
comes both atmosphere and attitude. Photographed by Kapture Studio,
Victoria Bonissoni emerges from an icy, almost otherworldly light as elec-
tric cobalt sweeps across the eyes with architectural precision. Feathered
lashes extend beyond the gaze, flashes of violet dissolve into saturated
blue, and skin remains luminous and nearly translucent. Lorenzo Badalac-
chi treats makeup not simply as decoration, but as an instrument of trans-
formation, shifting Victoria’s presence from graphic and confrontational
to quietly ethereal.
Hair follows the same language of metamorphosis. At first sleek, polished
and controlled, it gradually loosens into sculptural waves and unexpected
volumes, framing the face like another beauty accessory. A sheer veil soft-
ens her features into abstraction, while later portraits allow the hair to be-
come increasingly expressive, lifted away from the face and suspended in
shapes that feel almost aerodynamic. Throughout, glowing skin provides
the constant: fresh, reflective and deliberately uncomplicated, creating a
quiet counterpoint to the drama of the eyes.
Under Kapture Studio’s cool monochromatic light, the story seems to exist
somewhere between midnight and morning, when familiar features begin
to feel unfamiliar again. Wardrobe styling by María José Salazar remains
intentionally secondary, using metallic surfaces, transparency and deep
navy to echo the beauty palette without competing with it. The result is a
portrait of blue not simply as a color, but as a beauty state of mind: cool
yet sensual, futuristic yet intimate, and proof that a single shade can con-
tain an entire spectrum of identities.
