How did your creative journey begin?

Irina: My creative journey has its roots in my childhood spent with my Grandma, a former model and dressmaker in a USSR atelier. We would spend countless days crafting new dresses and revamping old clothes. After completing my first degree in civil law, I decided to delve into the world of fashion. I studied the construction of clothes and couture in Rome, Italy, honing my skills in fashion, branding, and the art of creating garments. This journey allowed me to develop the brand of bespoke clothes that began with corsets into a premium-quality brand with perfectly fitting garments.

What is your favorite part of your art?

Irina: What I love most is inventing characters and envisioning the clothes they would wear, along with the setting they inhabit. This process allows me to create a complete concept for a new collection or photoshoot. Witnessing people from around the world wearing and styling my creations and bring these characters to life is the most rewarding aspect of my work. It feels like living in many different countries around the world at the same time.

Tell us a little about the concept of this shoot.

Irina: The photoshoot aims to capture the essence of old Soviet houses and the women who inhabited them. It's a nod to those ladies who, with no particular occasion, would dress up, showcase their beautiful porcelain, and wear intriguing vintage clothes and jewelry. The goal was to encapsulate the atmosphere of their everyday lives, presenting a glimpse into the charm of a bygone era, just like what I've seen at the houses of my Grandmas.

What are you dreaming about?

Irina: My biggest dream is to elevate my brand beyond its current niche in bespoke clothing. We are constantly exploring ways to scale, both geographically and technologically. The aspiration is to transform my brand into something larger, reaching a broader audience and consistently innovating through new collections and products.

What is your creative goal?

Irina: My creative goal is to continue evolving my brand, pushing the boundaries beyond bespoke clothing. I want to explore new territories, embrace emerging technologies, and consistently introduce fresh collections and products. Ultimately, I aim to create a brand that resonates on a global scale, leaving a lasting impact on the world of slow fashion.
