How did your career start?

I never imagined I would be a model at my age (around 70 years young)
It all began two years ago, when while having a conversation with a stranger named, Carole, she insisted that it was the plan of the universe for me to be a fashion model.
To be honest, as a successful businesswoman and seven-time author, this was not part of my plan. Carole insisted I speak to her psychic medium in New York, Toni. It was after my conversation with Toni that I entertained the possibility of becoming a fashion model. Toni, said “absolutely, you will inspire and empower others, teaching by example how to be healthy and young in a holistic way so that the world becomes a better place.”
“But where do I begin?”
And then the idea came to me to reach out to the owner of my hair salon. She referred me to, Marie P. Anderson, agent who discovered Cindy Crawford, and head of all the top fashion agencies in Chicago. Through her mentorship, I have worked with top fashion photographers, creating a diverse portfolio to show my range.

Tell us a little about this shoot.

Most of our shoot was taken at the world-famous, Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA. Designed by architect, Frank Gehry, the postmodern architecture, creates the illusion of time travel to another universe. Like the structure, this shoot was inspired from the inside out with a futuristic feel and sophistication of the masculine and feminine.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by people who are fully self-expressed and who advocate on the behalf of others without fear.

Next stop - NYC to work with top fashion, commercial photographer, Fadhil Berisha, and then a magical trip to the desert, Joshua Tree, to commune with nature and re-energize.
