furtives

The very definition of movement is "a change of position in space". On the contrary, photography will record a subject in a still image. Our "Furtives" series is based around these two opposites, through two women, as part of an editorial that aims to be "fashion". Inspired by Alain Damasio's book, "Les Furtifs", they are part of a white universe, the Cyclo, in which the latter get lost, tend to find themselves. They are then captured by the flash (white light) in the middle of this abstract unity of place. It is this arrangement of light that comes to seek them, in order to take them out of this black box that is a photo studio. The paradox also lies in the stealth of the movement, which spins under the human eye without being caught, but can be stopped and made still by the flash of light, which thus results in its death but also its memorable beauty.
